The Proof of the Pudding, they say, is in the eating. 

We have had several people tell us over the phone that they are happy. These cannot be captured ! Yet others have SMS'ed us their comments. Till recently, we did not know how to capture these for this site. However, some take the trouble to write to us and tell us their experiences. We cherish the responses - in whichever form. We reproduce below extracts from some of the responses:

Mr Madhav drove in from a neighbouring state and stayed with us for two days in November, 2012. 

These were three random comments of those who saw a picture taken by us of Kukkarahalli Lake at dusk in September, 2012.

Ruchin had stayed with us during Dasara, 2011 and remembered those days when we put up a photograph on our Page.

Australian nationals, Tim, Peggy and their 3 children stayed with us - and needed to culturally adjust themselves to having our caretaker around always, obsequiously anticipating their needs and being helpful. This is something our Indian guests uniformly value,  appreciate, and comment approvingly upon, but we learnt that there are people from other cultures who find this uncomfortable!  

Mr Lakshmanan and his family stayed with us for 3 nights in September, 2012.

Shantesh and his family stayed with us in May, 2012 and wrote us this email after nearly 3 months.

Ms Aparna stayed with her family for a night in July, 2012 and sent us this email after her return. The Family Tree booklet she mentions is a book about our own Family, a copy of which is available for guests to browse through.

Harsh Lele stayed with his family for 2 days. He was also happy with our interactions during booking and before he arrived.

Prasad took this photo in front of our Home Stay - with his daughter in the picture.
He also put up an album of the photos he took while on his walk around the Kukkarahalli Lake at sunrise.

Prasad Kailaje stayed with us in June, 2012 with his family.

Mr Thakkar travels to Mysore regularly. The above is from his feedback after his first stay.
He has since become a repeat customer. 

Ms Kamala Ramya considered, but did not stay at our Home for some reason. She visited our Home to check it out.
This was her comment after her visit. 

Mr Tandon's family came from Chennai and stayed with us with their friends, in early June, 2012.
Mr. Tandon wrote this to us immediately on his return. 

Sumita stayed with her husband and daughter, for 2 nights, en route to Coorg (Kodagu)
for a friend's marriage. She sent this SMS to us hours after she checked out. 

A week after their return home, the Nasikwalas wrote to us as above.
We are humbled and encouraged by such feedback.

The Nasikwalas stayed with us in late-April, 2012.
This was the SMS they sent when they were staying there -
they did not even wait to finish their holiday, to tell us!

Rajul Shrivastava, who sent us a kind email on 29 December, 2011 (see below),
posted this on our Facebook Wall a fortnight later, on January 15, 2012.

Mr Narasimhan checked in with 6 other family members, initially for one night in Jan, 2012.
They liked it so much that they decided to extend their stay by a day -
and he  informed us by the above SMS! 

Sumasree stayed at our place for over 10 days in Dec, 2011-Jan, 2012

Rajul Shrivastava & his family  drove into Mysore close to midnight, and could not locate our Home.
They knew nothing of Mysore city. We hand-held them, giving turn-by-turn driving instructions for 30 minutes over the phone. 

This was another customer's response (name withheld) after a particularly happy service experience!

Hrishikesh had booked our Home Stay to accommodate many of his friends who were in Mysore for his wedding reception. 

Mr Shivaprasad stayed at our home for one night at the end of Nov '11, along with 10 other family members. 

Mr Rana did not even stay with us - what he has said above relates to his experience in interactions with us
while booking, and later, cancelling the booking. 

Ranjana stayed with her family while her children competed in a sports event in Mysore.
Later, her husband and son returned for another day's stay. 

Gunjan and his family were one of our early customers, and stayed at our place in August, 2011.

Chandrakant and his family stayed with us at the end of October, 2011. 

One of our customers, Shyam Tripathy, sent us word through his friend, Ajay, who stays and works in Mysore.
In fact, Ajay booked the place again for a visitng friend's family.

Suresh stayed here with his family in June, and came back in December, 2011.

Suparna stayed for two nights recently.

Shashi and his family stayed in early October, 2011.
At the time, the 3rd bedroom was furnished as a study.
Now, the home is even more comfortable, with privacy for 6 adults.

Mitali stayed with 2 of her friends, and their kids,
when they had been to Mysore for an Inter-school
Competition  their children were participating in.
