The home has a 20-feet high ceiling for the living room. We have a resident, full-time caretaker-couple who can attend to all your needs, while you relax on a soft, leather recliner doing exactly nothing!  

The Living Room gives on to an 800-sq ft multi-level private garden.  

Enjoy cooking leisurely meals in a large, clean and well-appointed kitchen with glass-topped hob and microwave, with your family buzzing around, watching television. 

The garden is well-maintained, with soft Bermuda grass.  

In this garden, you can indulge in lazily watering the plants, if you feel so inclined.

The view from one bedroom - jackfruit-laden trees. The home is next-door to the house in which Dr Radhakrishnan, 2nd President of India, stayed when he was Head of Department of Philosophy at University of Mysore.

This is one of the 2 comfortable, well-appointed bedrooms with attached balconies
and bathrooms on the upper level. A 3rd bedroom is on the lower level.

Enjoy the cool interiors and celebrate the greenery while relaxing in
oversized faux-leather recliners!

Or take a walk around the beautiful Kukkarahalli Lake that is, quite literally, next door. This lake is designated as an Important Bird Area by BirdLife International - one of only 465 such areas in the world. Read what the blogsphere is saying about this Lake. 

This lake is home to over 180 species of exotic birds like Purple Moorhens, Painted Storks, Grey Herons, White Ibises, Pelicans, Darters, Cormorants, Coots, and several other species, birds that most non-Mysoreans would never have seen uncaged.

The resident caretaker can help you with hiring a taxi for sight-seeing in and around Mysore. Or with ordering and fetching food from nearby eateries, or with a steaming hot cup of tea or coffee.
